August 6, 2014Whether you are working or playing, your feet are working hard all the time. They deserve to be pampered, but many people tend to forget about them. Don’t take them for granted–they are the only pair you’ll ever have. Try these steps for smooth, soft feet that feel as good as they look.
Soak. Fill a tub with warm water and Epsom salts. Soak your tired feet for at least ten minutes. This will soften and rejuvenate them.
Exfoliate. Once your feet are softened, it’s time to get rid of the rough, dead skin. Use foot scrubs and a foot file or pumice stone to gently remove dead skin.
Moisturize. Apply a generous amount of lotion to your feet and put socks on to retain the moisture.
Trim nails. Schedule a pedicure at home or at your beauty salon.
Get a foot massage. Make an appointment with a professional or enlist the help of someone at home.
Go barefoot. Give your feet some time to breathe and be free.
Wear good shoes. Your feet deserve the proper support. Make sure you choose quality shoes for working, playing, and dancing!
